This is the view from the hotel we rented for the night, 22nd floor! Conveniently we had a window located in the perfect spot, allowing us to keep an eye on the illegally parked car...hey, if it was my car, I wouldn't have done it! However, I do always feel safer when it's the adults doing naughty things...
As we neared the stadium, a recorded voiceover repeatedly warned us about not bringing in drugs, alcohol, pets...umbrellas....This is us reuniting after Uncle Danny hid his weed in a bush because he was worried they'd check us with sniffer dogs or something. They did nothing of the sort! The guy at the gate barely even checked our tickets! Needless to say we had lots of fun trying to find it later....
Probably one of the most breath-taking-ly beautiful songs they performed. I loved the song before, but it wasn't a favourite, now it is! "To binge" is basically (to my knowledge) about our societies tendency to take too much of what we don't need. So like, I guess it could be something more widely interpreted such as a consumerist society, or overdosing on medication, alcohol or other drugs. Anyway, whatever the meaning, the graphics were so mesmerising, I don't know if you can tell in the photo, but it was this yellow liquid sinking down a drain... (kinda reminded me of the bile that you start gagging up after you've ripped up the lining of your stomach bringing up everything else -yeah- i said it was mesmerising). Little dragon's singer had a truly haunting voice.
